Do you mean if the user checks the checkbox then it should disable a number of fields? If you are using APEX 4 then you can achieve this using dynamic actions. If not then you will have to write an onChange() event and code it manually.1 person found this helpful

As John suggests, with APEX 4.x
- Create a dynamic action that fires on change of your checkbox item.
- Define the condition as "equal to" Y (or whatever value of your checkbox)
- You True action would Enable your text field, and create a subsequent False action that disables it.
- You may enable this to fire this on page load.
