Hi, I'm working on Apex 3.2.1.00.12 which is installed on an Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.1.0.5.0
I'll explain my problem...At the begin of the application, the user select a year, each year can have 3 status and depending of the status I restrict or grant the access to some tabs, pages and options. I set the status of the selected year in an Application item and then I simply use an Authorization Scheme to check if the User can access to the options or pages.
The problem is if the Administrator changes the status of the current year (for example from 1 to 2), the users that are currently in the application will access to the options of the status 1 instead of the options of status 2. is there a way to change the value of that item for all users?
I think I'll have to re-read the application item value from its source as you suggest. I wanted to avoid it because it might cause the page takes more time loading but it seems there is not other option.
