Migrate 32bit to 64bit (oel4 to oel5)

Userdba.5-OracleFeb 5 2013 — edited Feb 5 2013
Hi,

We need to migrate applications(database) from OEL-4.7 SERVER to OEL5 SERVER. Currently oel4.7 server is 32 bit and we need to migrate to OEL5 64-bit server.
Could someone please help us to find the correct steps/docs for this kind of migrations.

1. 32-bit server
Operating system -->OEL 4.7
Database version---->11.2.0.3

2. 64-bit server
Operating system -->OEL 5
Database version---->11.2.0.3

Note:- We are not trying to upgrade the database. Just we are moving the DB to 64bit new sever.

Thanks in advance
