    sharing libraries across JREs

I have a library jar which is being used by different java applications in linux. I'm wondering if the code segment of the library can be shared by these applications (assuming they are run at the same time, alive etc). Does JRE support this? Does it take advantage of linux's memory scheme where the code is loaded into set of pages and the same page is reused in the page map table corresponding to all processes?

      Thanks in advance !!!
