Is there any comments or suggestions on the issue?
Is it a bug of ADF Button/Dialog, or some additional changes on the code should be made to avoid the issue?
Is it possible for you to disable the button once it is clicked and enable it once your dialog box gets cancelled/closed?
If you want this solution I can help you out !
Thank you a lot for your reply and solution.
Actually, in my current implementation, a similar solution is introduced to 'simulate' and disable the double click.
I would expect an official solution for double click supported by ADF components, to avoid the workaround solutions like disabling button which need to change a lot of buttons that are used in the similar way.
use the blocking feature that prevents double invocation.

Thank you for your reply.
1. commandToolbarButton should be used in this case, not commandButton, and the blocking property doesn't exist.
2. Tried to use af:clientListener:
<af:commandToolbarButton text="Add" id="btnid"
<af:clientListener type="dblClick" method="onDblClick"/>
