... Actually from pre Sun Microsysem days ....
When there will be Oracle version of this exams?

Oracle released new MySQL version.. And exams?
I assume they would say when resource is available and when it is cost effective to do so relative to demand.

Obviously release of 5.6 might be trigger .... and MySQL has now had a chance to Stabilize under Oracle Stewardship an transitions through Sun into Oracle which would have unfortunately caused some disruption.

... However this is a busy time, Oracle Database 12c and cloud and Bigdata/NoSQL are currently edge topics and would take priority.

          ....

Oracle have rechecked the current DBA/DEV exams for 5.1 and 5.5 compatibility; they may also do the same for 5.6. Or hey may now there is sufficient new features to be tested, and sufficient demand, that a new exam release may be prepared.

..... These are my thoughts only.

It seems MySQL is now defunct. All major Linux distributions are moveing to MariaDB. Maybe MariaDB will launch a certification?
