    SID and Service Name on Weblogic Server

    M.A.N
      Dears,
      My question related to Data Source, when i create new data source on weblogic server version 10.3.6.0, i have Data Base name as SID not Service Name.
      when i put the data Base name as SID the error below appear :

      Test failed: Listener refused the connection with the following error:
      ORA-12505, TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor

      My question is weblogic server version 10.3.6.0 take the data base name as SID ? or there are any way to use SID data base user on weblogic server version 10.3.6.0 ?

      Now i test the data base name on Jdeveloper Version 11.1.1.4.0 and create new data base connection as below :
      1 - when i choose SID, the error above appear
      2 - when i choose Service Name everything working correctly.

      Now i need put the user on weblogic server version 10.3.6.0 as SID to be pass and continue working on my project.

      thanks

          $ oerr ora 12505
          12505, 00000, "TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor"
          // *Cause:  The listener received a request to establish a connection to a
          // database or other service. The connect descriptor received by the listener
          // specified a SID for an instance (usually a database instance) that either
          // has not yet dynamically registered with the listener or has not been
          // statically configured for the listener. This may be a temporary condition
          // such as after the listener has started, but before the database instance
          // has registered with the listener.
          // *Action:
          //  - Wait a moment and try to connect a second time.
          //  - Check which instances are currently known by the listener by executing:
          //    lsnrctl services <listener name>
          //  - Check that the SID parameter in the connect descriptor specifies
          //    an instance known by the listener.
          //  - Check for an event in the listener.log file.
