For a single Business Component and its Business Component User Properties I deleted the Value(s) of several Business Component User Properties.
I wanted to re-compile the project test my changes but received the following error:
Script compilation failed at line 60 in procedure 'BusComp_PreWriteRecord':
Semantic Error around line 62:Not all control paths lead to a return statement.
I am unable to see anything in the Edit Server Scripts for the Business Component as to where and why I would receive this error.
Should I be looking in another package?
I am unsure if it comes from this Business Component or not. I do not know how to figure out which one it may be coming from.
I did a full compile.
It is the Service Request BC. I'm assuming it is not a customized one.
I'm really new to this. So it's hard for me to confirm.
You can try to do an incremental compile of BC Service Request and see if the error appears.
If not, than it's probably another BC.
One other thing, most of the time it's better to inactivate things, instead of deleting them.
Otherwise you could have activated the User Properties again to be sure.
I for a specific Business User Property I deleted the value of the property. The property still exists.
I didn't understand how to inactivate one as I'm so new to this and didn't see the Inactive checkbox. I have since deactivated the field and compiled without errors, but some other changes I have made did not take a effect. I am currently doing a recompile.
I appreciate your feedback. Hopefully I can get this resolved.
