How to Reset the WebLogic Admin Password

    803526
      Hi,

I have a client that has lost key people that know the Admin password of their WebLogic server. I need a procedure for resetting the Admin password. Is this possible?

      Best Regards,

      Mike Kramer

              This solution was helpful!

The root cause of the problem ended up being wrong file permissions, as someone before me tried to start the server as the root user.

After resetting the correct owner file permissions of the Oracle Home tree, the server started with the newly assigned ID/PW.
