I am passing instances of Employees object through an ArrayList and this works just fine. In your case the object you send along is not serializable, which is less a problem in ADF mobile than on the WS
I am a bit confused. java.lang.Integer is serializable which should mean a List<Integer> is serializable too?
I will check if I am doing something wrong with how the parameter is set.
No luck. A WS DC method call with a simple parameter (java.lang.String or java.lang.Integer) works fine but I can't get it to work when there is an array input.
I have tried WS methods with int arrays and simple string arrays without any luck. All of them result in a cannot serialize error.
I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Are there any working WS Datacontrol samples with array inputs?
Not sure if this will work in your use case, but for a project of our own we did the following :1 person found this helpful
- Send a complex object to our WS (POJO) but we also got the same exception
- Modified the POJO to contain only String types, tried again and this worked.
