How to get source code of EarHcmCompensation.ear?

The ear file contains all the meta data artifacts such as the business component xml files or UI artifacts such as jsffs or pagedef xmls. It does not include the java source code for the .class files. I assume those are what you are looking for? If so, the general process for requesting source code is via Oracle Support.

            Hi Oliver,

We want a "JDeveloper application with EarHcmCompensation.jws". Your developer must have it to develop HCM Compensation. Can We(cisco) have it?

Could you ask your developers and give us the JDeveloper application with EarHcmCompensation.jws?

The reason I asked "JDeveloper application with EarHcmCompensation.jws" is we( 5 engineers in Cisco) worked several weeks following Oracle document, but we still cannot run it on local environment. According to your own document, it should run on local. Check http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E28271_01/fusionapps.1111/e16691/ext_lifecycle.htm#CHDIJJJJ

If we can get "the JDeveloper application with EarHcmCompensation.jws", it makes our life much easier. Can you help?

            Thanks

so for the issue as discussed for not able to run the app in integrated WLS

"[03:03:43 PM] Wrote Enterprise Application Module to C:\Users\gcai\AppData\Roaming\JDeveloper\system11.1.1.6.39.62.68\o.j2ee\drs\Application2

Truncated. see log file for complete stacktrace"

you should be able to find oracle.apps.common.resource.ear file in your environment. get it and do the following:

              1. Start only integrated WLS
              2. go to the console at http://localhost:port/console
              3. Go to deployments and upload it
              4. give it the name oracle.apps.common.resource
              5. install it as a library

now try to deploy and you should be able to.
