It showing above waring .Is there any other setting required ?
thanks for quick response..
libaio = 0.3.106-2 is needed by libaio-devel-0.3.106-2.i386You are trying to install the actual source code of the libaio package? It is very unusual. The .src.rpm packages contain the source code. You probably need libaio-0.3.106-2.rpm, which is the binary distribution. Or better, use YUM to install software and have it resolve software dependencies automatically.
rpm -ivh libaio-0.3.106-2.src.rpm
Try download and install libaio 0.3.106 x86_64 rpm.

As the other post shouw, youa re trying to install the wrong src package.
For 64 bit do:
rpm -Uvh http://public-yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL5/latest/x86_64/libaio-0.3.106-5.x86_64.rpm http://public-yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL5/latest/x86_64/libaio-devel-0.3.106-5.x86_64.rpm
For 32 bit do:
rpm -Uvh http://public-yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL5/latest/i386/libaio-0.3.106-5.i386.rpm http://public-yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL5/latest/i386/libaio-devel-0.3.106-5.i386.rpm
still I am not able to install package .
Give us more info. What is your exact OS version and kernel version.
Setup yum and use that for package install since that resolves dependencies.
use YUM to install software and have it resolve software dependencies automatically.as Dude already mentioned and you did not reply at all.
Do you need help how to setup yum?
if you have OL5
cd /etc/yum.repos.d wget http://public-yum.oracle.com/public-yum-el5.repo yum install libaio-devel
you need to describe what are you doing and copy and paste here the command and the error
It can be many things, no internet access, wrong user, etc, etc, etc
