My question 1. Can any type of validation be done here. Like users cannot exit without putting comments.
2. Can we name this editor window like Comments Window.
if the field behind the editor is required, then its also required in the editor. But you can still close the editor without entering a value. If you don't want that, consider to create a simple editor-forms on your own.
You can create your own editor in the object-navigator and then assign that editor to the item.
