Hi DBA Guru(s),
I have a general question that, if the size of data file is growing automatically without intervention of
users then what would be the reason.
If you're sure that no user is the reason for your data file growth then you should look for the scheduled jobs that are running in the database.
Datafile cannot getting bigger without intervention of users which user should insert something into datafile the ( purpose of database ).
Well, we could see some significant growth for the datafile(s) that make up the SYSAUX tablespace,
especially with a short snapshot interval (on a RAC DB with many nodes , possibly) and a very long snapshot retention.
This would happen without any user activity even ;-)
