I had the OEM Cloud 12c implemented and working for the past 6 months and all of a sudden, it started behaving erratically by sending alerts about OMS Weblogic related alerts down. When i checked it was up again. But the issue is because of this there is a significant notification backlog (around 5000+) and that is growing. I had mode some modification in the metric collection setup to reduce the frequency for collection so that the alerts is reduced. But the notification backlog is so significant, the recent alerts are not coming yet and that is causing problems. Also, some of the changes in the metric is not getting updated in the Management agent...
Checked the OEM repository DB and found no issues...
Anyone had come across this? Appreciate your help.
You have mentioned 3 issues - one with the notif backlog, one about weblogic server possibly bouncing quickly and the other with the agent?
Please do open an SR for the first and post the SR#.
Also, it wold be good to know - how do you get notified? Email only or do you any adv. notif methods?
