FDM is the entire Financial Data Quality Management product while Workbench is a specific piece of FDM (windows client program) generally used by administrators to updates create applications, add applications, update application settings, create/edit reports, scripts, etc.
can you please tell me when can we use FDM and when can we use FDM workbench
Use FDM Workbench specifically for:
i. Setting up Batch Loader/ Batch Processing
ii. Ease of Scripting
iii. Integrating source and target adapters and registering them
iv. Backup application files
v. Customization of FDM Reports
The rest of the functionalities and capabilities of FDM can be done within the application web itself.
We are using FDM for doing mapping anything other use of rather than this can you please tell me.
Is all task of FDM workbech can we do in FDM please .
Is there any student guide for FDM please give me a link so that it would be more helpful for me.
The FDM web is the main interface for FDm when the Import of source data is performed, Mapping is Created, Locations are Built, etc.
The Workbench is strictly a Windows CLient tool for FDM administrators where the Adapters are imported and maintained for the target and source (if using ERPi).
The workbench is also used to import the reports for FDM and you can maintain scripts within the workbench (you can also maintain scripts from the web as well).
Can anyone lpease share with me link for getting FDm document, user manual,
Thanks in advance,
