my scenario is,
I am using this piece of line "<$QueryText="dDocTitle <substring> `*test*`"$>". Here I am hardcoding the value test , how can i pass this value dynamically? In how many ways can i pass this value dynamically?? Is it possible to set the value dynamically using RIDC ???
I am new this technology. Please help.
Thank you for your help Jonathan.
My scenario is,
Will check-in file into content server using ADF using RIDC. As soon as its been checked-in, a bullletin should be created using HCST template with the content of the checked-in file. Now by using getTextFile() method, I am able to display the content in HCST template, however here I am hardcoding the dDocTitle value,
<$QueryText = "dDocTitle <substring> `*test*`"$>
How can i set the value dynamically(i.e., whenever the text file is checked-in, automatically the dDocTitle of that file should set in IDOCSCRIPT dynamically). In this case instead of hardcoding value "*test*", how can i set it dynamically??
Its already been created. Only one HCST template is used for all the content item.
So let us take,
If i check-in file1, then HCST should display the content of file1.
If i check-in file2, then HCST should display the content of file2.
So, content will change based on each file, but using only one HCST template.
Yes. Will create the link to open the HCST. So if someone click the link, HCST template will open with the file content.
Then if i append the dDocTitle with the URL, can i use the value in IDOCSCRIPT??? if so, thank you very much :) If possible can you please refer me some examples or sample code?
