Please run md5sum as per (MD5 Checksums for R12.1.1 Rapid Install Media [ID 802195.1]) to verify the integrity of the stage area directory.

Did you encounter any errors when running the installer on this node?

Did you install all OS pre-req. as per the installation doc?

Oracle E-Business Suite Installation and Upgrade Notes Release 12 (12.1.1) for Linux x86-64 [ID 761566.1]

What does "adopmnctl.sh status" return? Can you issue "adopmnctl.sh startall" with no errors?

Please also run AutoConfig log file and see if you get any errors.

          Thanks,

The registration is failing because you do not have */d2/R12/ab/apps/R1211XB9/* as it is looking for this location on your current system. I believe this must be from the place where Software was created.

So please take backup of /d02/oracle/PROD/apps/tech_st/10.1.2/bin/OracleAS_Relink_Patch.sh and see if it pointing to */d2/R12/ab/apps/R1211XB9/apps/tech_st/10.1.2/install/oracle_relink_patch.out* location.

You should have more entries in the tnsnames.ora file on the application tier node.

What is the output of "echo $ORACLE_SID" and "echo $TWO_TASK" commands?

The post install now shows database availability and loging page red. All others are green. I feel i am soo close but apps server just cant connect to the database server. In regular oracle database its as simple as updating the tnsnames.ora file to reflect that change but not the case here. I actually put the tns entry from DB server in the tnsnames.ora file and got an error when i tnspinged. Anyone got any advise for me pls?

Thanks Hussein. Just looking at all logs during install and a key log is the make logfile. I see the one for 10.1.3 is fine but 10.1.2 has errors. Ill take a look at that document.
