1) you are under "/u01/app/oracle" and you try to go to "/sysman/log". First you must go folder by folder or with absolute path, can't avoid folders.
for example: cat /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/localhost.localdomain_OCA11_G/sysman/log
or go to cd /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/localhost.localdomain_OCA11_G/sysman/ and read it.
2) Go to your /oracle/home/example.ctl and check if it exists, if it exist, check if it has enough privileges to access.

1) create control file and save it in folder say *c:\test* 2) save your .csv file or flat file(file contains data) on the location *c:\test* 3) go to command prompt 4) go to cd c:\test folder 5) your command prompt should show screen like c:\test. that means you are on the test directory in c drive. 6) now type you command like sqlldr userid=scott/tiger@orcl control=control_file_name.
