Yes, but did you add a characterset definition to your XML file, and does the data stored in the XML match this characterset?

But the data in the blob is actually UTF-8 encoded you have a Characterset-Problem, as the XML parser will treat your (UTF-8 data) as windows-1252 data...

christian: i can't believe that the filetransfer ais the problem.
i must look at the customer what happening after the filetransfer. maybe file move or other action
