Can anybody let me know whether Oracle Database Cloud Service supports unstructured data (Hadoop or map reduce support)? I found that Oracle Cloud has launched STORAGE Preview, but will it support saving unstructured data, like images, heavy log files, videos, etc. https://cloud.oracle.com/mycloud/f?p=service:storage_service:0:::::
I just read the below question, and found that we can do it. How to upload CLOB and BLOB columns
But please provide some details on how to even put the image and other files into on premise Oracle DB. Once I learn this process, then I will try uploading those files to Cloud DB instance.
Since your question involves an on-premise Oracle Database, you should post your question in one of the Oracle Database forums. There is one on loading and unloading data here (Export/Import/SQL Loader & External Tables that might be appropriate.
Hope this helps.

Sorry I can't answer your question, but you might want to check with Tom Laszewski. He works for AWS and has recently published several post on working with databases. He's on Twitter at [@migrating2cloud|https://twitter.com/migrating2cloud] and he blogs at [Oracle in the Cloud|http://cloudconclave.blogspot.com/] . Good luck!
