Before, confirm you have installed the package oracle-rdbms-server-11gR2-preinstall1 person found this helpful
Then, you need to have a graphical display, either local or remote working to be able to run runInstaller
Install and check you can run applications like xterm or eyes before running runInstaller
also check you are running the installation as the user that will own the application.

Unable to install Oracle 11g Release 2
Both disk 1 and disk 2 should be unzipped into the same directory and check if ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_BASE are correctly set.
Thanks for your help
At the end just clear me,which version of Java is compatible with oracle 11g 64bit on 64bit linux system
again also clear how to check downloded files of Oracle 11g are corrupted.
Pl identify exactly which version of Oracle database you are installing on Linux 6.x - currently only 188.8.131.52 is certified in Linux 6.x - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/relnotes.112/e23558/toc.htm#CHDFHIEA
If you are installing 184.108.40.206 or 220.127.116.11, then you will have to use Linux 5.7 or 5.8 - pl follow the instructions in the Install Guide - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/install.112/e24321/toc.htm
