      ORA-06512: at line 1
      31600. 00000 - "invalid input value %s for parameter %s in function %s"
*Cause:    A NULL or invalid value was supplied for the parameter.
*Action:   Correct the input value and try the call again.

      Query is:

      SELECT TRIM(TO_CHAR (DBMS_METADATA.get_dependent_ddl('TABLE','FND_APPLICATION','APPLSYS'))) string

what is the problem in this query..

Please mark this question ANSWERED as you have posted it in the wrong forum. This forum is ONLY for SQL Developer questions.

You are trying to use the 'get_dependent_ddl' function to query 'tables' that are dependent on some object name 'FND_APPLICATION').

Tables are NOT dependent objects. Review table 74-11 in the DBMS_METADATA chapter of the Packages and Types doc
          http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/appdev.111/b28419/d_metada.htm#BGBIEDIA

Again - mark this question ANSWERED and if you want any other input you need to repost it in the proper forum.
