    Merge incremental backups consume equal time for both Level0 and Level1

      Hello All,

      Customer testing merge incremental backup and found out that the level 1 backup is taking same time as the level 0 backup. This is the backup script we use

      "{
      BACKUP INCREMENTAL LEVEL 1 FOR RECOVER OF COPY WITH TAG 'IMAGE_BKUP' DATABASE;
      RECOVER DEVICE TYPE DISK COPY OF DATABASE with tag 'IMAGE_BKUP' UNTIL TIME 'SYSDATE-0';
      }
      "

      If you look at the time_taken column below it is almost same for level1 backup as level0 the day when we first ran the merge incremental.

      Question:
      Is the level1 backup total run time is going to be more or less same as level0 backup in merge incremental backup strategy ?
      If not what could be the possible reasons that is driving the Level1 backup to consume same amount of time with Level0 ?
