      Im new to the database world. If you are trying to point to lets say your c drive, how do you manually create a pathway?

            Then database world is not for you, because when you can not ask the question properly, I doubt you can understand the answer.

              Read the FAQ link posted on the top-right corner of this page which mentions clearly that post your 4 digit db version and o/s information.

              Now , what do you mean by "pathway" and what this question has to do with the Oracle database anyways?
