When I go into Oracle BI Administrator for Discoverer 10g, I can open up a folder and right click on the table. Next, I select the properties and click on the Dependents tab. This is great and all but I would like to create the same dependent information to export to excel. Specifically, I need to know all the workbooks that reference a particular table. Is there a query against the EUL tables that would do this? Sure, I can query the EUL5 User Queries folder, but that lists by workbooks, when I prefer to see it by table. I appreciate any information.
It was previously discussed in the forum,
This is a problematic requirement since there is a trap here.
you can get the dependencies between the workbooks and the folders, that much you already knows.
the problem is when you have folders that are not based on a table, for example:
- folder based on view
- folder based on SQL (custom folder)
- Custom folders (that are based on other folders)
- also you may have calculated items that are function based and may relate to the table you refer.
