Fresh Install Of Java Defaults 32GB For Temporary Files

So after a reformatting my OS, Java install. Looking into the settings I notice "Temporary File Settings" defaulted "Disk Space:Set the amount of disk space for storing temporary files" to, 32768MB/32GB. Pressing "restore defaults" changes nothing, "Set the amount of disk space for storing temporary files" remains at 32GB. I was thinking of setting this to 1GB, will this create a problem? I do not write/program anything, I just have Java in my machine as recommended for security with applications that use Java. I don't even know what programs I regularly use, other than Firefox, that utilize Java.

      Thanks for reading.
