I want the character set to be UTF8.
Will it be possible for me to change the characterset?

If i have to create a new database, manually how do i do it by making the character set as UTF8.

It is possible....use link below fr the different approaches:

    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e10729/ch11charsetmig.htm#CEGDHJFF

If you create a database uing dbca you have the option to change the characterset prior to the db creation during an advanced installation:

    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e10897/install.htm#CBHFDDFE

If creating the database using scripts then the character set is specified in the create database statement...see below:
    CREATE DATABASE <db_name>
    MAXINSTANCES 56
    MAXLOGHISTORY 6300
    MAXLOGFILES 255
    MAXLOGMEMBERS 5
    MAXDATAFILES 2048
    CHARACTER SET UTF8
    ...
    ...

What is the reason for needing UTF8 instead of AL32UTF8 ? The latter is recommended - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e25494/create001.htm#ADMIN13343
