Are you creating the LOv field through personalization, if so have you done the LOV mapping if is a standalone LOV ?
Please try this.
view instance : xxxCostCenterVO
view attribute : costcenter
Dont give the View instance name as xxxCostCenterVO1
Now the problem is the value which I selected from the LOV is not getting reflected on the page .
The steps I followed on personalization are :
1)Created an item with style as Message Lov Input in the page . The External LOV property of this item is set to the Region which I customized.
2)Created LOV Mappings for this item .
3)When I tested the item which I created to select the value of cost center , the LOV region works fine . But when I click on a particular cost center , that is not getting populated in the item. Pls let me know if I missed sth ..
Please set the return item value to the LOV field in the properties window. Also make sure that you have done the LOV mappings.
There is no return Item property for the Item with the style MessageLovInput . And I set that property for LovMap Items.
I tihnk Berch was referring to the same. Anyway to simplify the problem, please double check the Lov Mappings and ensure there is at least one mapping which is marked as criteria as well as result to. Also ensure the same field is not mapped to any other LOV.
hi,im facing the same problem as you had.
i find that one of the VO attribute is set as non-updatable.
so when i select one value from the LOV region ,the LOV item becomes blank again, since the LOV field has the view attribute of an non-updatable attribute.
hope that helps
