    OCISessionRelease stuck on dead connection

I noticed that in case connection is not alive (for example blocked by firewall session timeout), we cannot do OCISessionRelease() cleanly...it always gets stuck:

      Thread 17 (Thread 0xa84feb90 (LWP 5874)):
      #0 0x0097e402 in __kernel_vsyscall ()
      #1 0x00332779 in __lll_lock_wait () from /lib/libpthread.so.0
      #2 0x0032dddf in Llock_885 () from /lib/libpthread.so.0
      #3 0x0032dca6 in pthread_mutex_lock () from /lib/libpthread.so.0
      #4 0xb55b5114 in sltsmna () from /opt/instantclient_11_2/libclntsh.so.11.1
      #5 0xb48b91e5 in kpuspsessionrelease () from /opt/instantclient_11_2/libclntsh.so.11.1
      #6 0xb475c614 in OCISessionRelease () from /opt/instantclient_11_2/libclntsh.so.11.1

What is the correct way to release such sessions? Just wait for a TCP connection to timeout?
