Hopefully I can answer this question in a way which is understandable. I have been unable to find an answer to a particular question that one of my users is asking. We are using OID 11g.
Are connections "normal"-ish LDAP traffic, where there short connections, i.e. a query is sent, a reply is returned, and the connection is terminated. Or is the Oracle-LDAP traffic long-term, establishing a single or pool of connections to OID and then holding that connection(s) open for reuse?
