Java Debugger

Hello friends,

I'm working on a project where I need to accept the java code from a web page and I need to generate a trace file for that java program, The trace file must contain all the local and global variable and all the method calls and its should show how the changes at each line/step.

I'd like to know what would be the best approach ...

If you don't know how to start, maybe you shouldn't be attempting something like this? How is this your project, if you want other people to design it for you?

Im sorry about the misunderstanding..but, I said what would be the best approach..

There are many ways through which I can do it...

I can build my own parser but that would take time ..

Or I can use some existing tools like ANTLR, Java Platform Debugger Architecture

I want to know if I can use any existing tools like these to generate a trace file...

    Thank you..
