By accident, i did an upgrade from 4.1 to 4.2 by using the runtime installation script apxerins.sql
Afterwords I dit the move to full development using the instructions
3.8.1 Converting a Runtime Environment to a Full Development Environment
Everythings looks nice. There were no errors in the installation log
results in a big number saying it should be ok.
But there is NO DEVELOPER Toolbar available.
Is there no any sql that solves this stupd problem?
I created a new environment from my backup
I did the upgrade again directly this time directly to Full Development and the the toolbar was there!
If someone knows how to show the developers toolbar after convverting from runtime to development, please let us know
When you edit one of the applications in your workspace, what is the "Status" item set to? Is it set to Available with Edit Links, as mentioned in Chapter 1 of the APEX Administration Guide, here http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E37097_01/doc/doc.42/e35129/aadm_build_status.htm#BABFDJHI ? If not, could you try updating the "Status", and check whether the developer toolbar is then visible.
Please check your version of 4.2.2. If it is not 4.2.2.00.11 I suggest downloading the patch from Oracle support.
This seems to have fixed my issue. Please see my thread: 4.2.2 Upgrade, Developer Bar Missing
I need to download the p16277995_422_Generic.zip file from the support site.
I had no access because I had no account.
My collegue has an account.
I will install the patch and will let you know if this solves the problem.
