Chinese characters are displayed as inverted ?

Hi Gurus,

Users report that some of the seeded report output's are displaying chinese characters as inverted ? (question marks). wierd thing is some of the reports whose output type is .pdf are showing up chinese characters.
Please help !!!

    Please post the details of the application release, database version and OS.

    What is the type of the reports which show question marks?

    What is your database/application characterset?
