After deploying 3 ADF Applications into web logic server successfully, got connection issue in web logic server.
The server has set to 150 connections so till 150 connections the reports are working fine but after 150 connections the reports are not runnning at all.
It means the reports are creating connections but not closing the connections.
What can ii do for this urgent issue?
please provide some suggestions... its very urgent.
Thanks for ur response.
No we cannot increase the pool size. Already we did this and it worked but everytime we have to change the pool size if we want more connections next time.
Is there any way that, for all the ADF reports pointing to the a single data source should create a single connection and shared among them?
After closing the browser also the connection is not closing, its showing the same connecion count.
Have you any possibility to change Connection Reserve Timeout to -1, If you set Connection Reserve Timeout to -1, a connection request will timeout immediately if there is no connection available. If you set Connection Reserve Timeout to 0, a connection request will wait indefinitely. The default value is 10 seconds.

There is a config setting "Disconnect application module upon release" which will effectively release any resources as soon as the adf lifecycle completes per request. Just set the jbo.txn.disconnect_level property to 1 if you want to avoid state passivation to db and you have enough memory available in your app.
This is only a quick fix which will affect the performance of you app. I would suggest you look at how your application is configured (use a single root am, use taskflows with return activities, etc.)
