When I attempt to log into the VM Manager, I get the following error:
Unexpected error during login (com.oracle.ovm.mgr.api.exception.FailedOperationException: OVMAPI_6000E Internal Error: Connection refused Connection refused Thu May 09 15:47:30 PDT 2013), please consult logs for details.
I believe I've identified the likely culprit, but I'm not sure how to move forward. Can I have some guidance?
<Creating Connection Pool named OVMDS, URL = jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:XE, Properties = user=ovs;DatabaseName=XE;.>

Ah. The whitepaper said 2GB base memory was OK, but that results in 1GB of shared memory on /dev/shm, which is slightly lower than Oracle's requirements. Modifying the fstab entry to have a size equal to the value in the SPFile solved the issue.
