          Hi,

          What about Oracle Database Upgrade Guide
          http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e23633/toc.htm

          Regards

            Hello,

            Here are some of my notes on upgrading your [url http://www.ora00600.com/wordpress/articles/oracle-10g-to-11g-upgrade-guide/]10g Oracle DB. They should help. Obviously you should also read the upgrade guide, too.

              1.     Patch set for 10.2.0.2.5 should be installed
              2.     Time version must be >= 4
              3.     Install the Oracle 11g on another ORACLE_HOME
              Note: We cannot upgrade the existing Oracle Home, since 11g is not a patchset. We have to install 11g oracle home as a seperate ORACLE_HOME in parallel to 10g Oracle Home.

              4. Recycle Bin Should off
              5. Edit pfile
              a)     Remove *.background_dump_dest, *.core_dump_dest, *.user_dump_dest, db_file_name_convert, log_file_name_convert
              b)     Add the diagnostic_dest
              *.diagnostic_dest=<<ORACLE_BASE/admin/drdivers/diagnostic>> (11g Base Directory)
              c)     Change *.compatible='10.2.0.1.0' to *.compatible=’11.1.0′

              may be below link will helpful for you
