Providing credentials in boot.properties is not working
May 16, 2013 8:17 AM
I have installed WLS 10.3.6 in my Linux box, while installing domain I selected the mode as production so whenever I start the Weblogic server it prompts for credentials.
I created boot.properties file in <my_domain>/security/boot.properties path, here are the contents of the file:
But still when I start my weblogic server using script <my_domain>/bin/startWeblogic.sh, ther server is asking me to enter username and password:
<May 16, 2013 1:12:05 AM PDT> <Info> <Security> <BEA-090065> <Getting boot identity from user.>
Enter username to boot WebLogic server:
So it is not picking the values from my boot.properties file, please help me in this.

I found out the issue, I have to place the file in <my_domain>/servers/AdminServer/security/boot.properties
After creating the file in this directory, it is working fine.
