How to receive alerts on Latency For Synchronous Single Block Reads

Hello I hope you can help me.

I would like to receive alerts on for example > 20ms Latency For Synchronous Single Block Reads for a RAC 11.2.
I am using Cloud Control 12c release 2, 12.1.0.2.0.

I looked around the interface for a way to do this but couldn't find one, since the metric is already nicely graphed in the "Performance Home" -> I/O tab, there should be a way to alert on this right?

Feel free to point me at the docs if necessary!

Thanks in advance,

    Hi {{Robbo}} ,

I believe your question is on the Average Synchronous Single-Block Read Latency (ms) metric, which is a database instance level metric, by default there is no threshold set for it.

    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24628_01/em.121/e25160/oracle_database.htm#EMDBM2470

To set thresholds for the metric:

    - Go to the homepage of the database instance.
    - Select Oracle Database -> Monitoring -> Metric and Collection Settings
    - From the Metric and Collection Settings page, select All metrics from the View drop-down list.
    - You should be able to find Average Synchronous Single-Block Read Latency (ms) under Throughput (if necessary, expand this folder)
    - Click the pencil icon in the Edit column on the right to proceed to set thresholds.

    Regards,
