support cost and crappy product

Does anyone in the DB world even care to test drive a product before making buying decision. I am talking about audit vault. Just use this product to know why.

Companies just loose money in all fronts by buying such useless ones. You pay perpetually both Oracle and several Admins (meaning your employees) just to maintain this product.

Ask yourself a question:: Did it really solve your compliance issue? What if there is an investigation? Does it help in forensic analysis?

There are plenty of too good products both commercial and free that solve your problem in this space more elegantly than this poorly crafted primitive artifact from Oracle.

    You seem to be very upset. Are you talking about old version of Audit Vault or the new appliance?


    In your opinion, what's wrong with it? Please, state some facts from your experience, because otherwise most people (including me) will probably treat your post as some kind of spam or disloyal competition.
