Error when adding connection in VS2012

1011973May 30 2013 — edited May 31 2013
Hi,

I'm using Oracle 11.2.0.3 x64 on windows 7 x64. Using Visual Studio 2012 Update 2. I just finished installing ODP.NET_Managed_1120360_32bit_Beta using OUI. The first thing I wanted to test was the Oracle tool installed in Visual Studio by adding a new connection in Server Explorer. Data Source is pointing to the new ODP.NET, Managed Driver. My username and password is filled and am connecting with the TNSName file. When I hit OK or Test Connection I get the following:

Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {0E0ADA73-9ECF-4133-8DC0-155E0051F2F6} failed due to the following error: 80040154.

I have this on a VM so I revert back and have re-installed a few times but still no luck. I've check the files under C:\oracle\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\ODP.NET and everything seems to be there. I'm checking my GAC and don't see Oracle.MangedDataAccess.dll in there but only Oracle.DataAccess.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to develop in database first so getting my IDE to work with oracle tools would be great. Thanks.

-david
