To migrate from linux to HP use: Note 438086.1 - Platform Migration with Oracle Applications Release 12
For the DB use: Note 741818.1 - Export/import process for R12 using 11g Release 1 or 11g Release 2
For HP be sure to have it configured as in: Note 762891.1 - Oracle Applications Installation and Upgrade Notes Release 12 (12.1.1) for HP-UX Itanium
Can you refer MOS docs for r12.1.3 migration from Redhat x86_64 Linux 5.5 to Redhat x86_64 Linux 5.5 (change is only server hardware OS and EBS version are same).?If you are planning to keep the same hostname, domainname, IP Address, directory structure, ..etc then you can simply copy and restore the files/directories, then relink executables and run AutoConfig.
How to relink an Applications Installation of Release 11i and Release 12 [ID 356878.1]
How to Relink Oracle Database Software on UNIX [ID 131321.1]
Or, you could simply use Rapid Clone.
Rapid Clone Documentation Resources For Release 11i and 12 [ID 799735.1]
Cloning Oracle Applications Release 12 with Rapid Clone [ID 406982.1]
Please note that you will need to install all OS software and packages on the target node(s) -- Oracle E-Business Suite Installation and Upgrade Notes Release 12 (12.1.1) for Linux x86-64 [ID 761566.1]
considering to keep the same hostname, domainname, IP Address, directory structure, ..etc
I beleive that "How to relink an Applications Installation of Release 11i and Release 12 [ID 356878.1]" MOS Doc is sufficient to deal with relink task for both database and application tier and no need to consult "How to Relink Oracle Database Software on UNIX [ID 131321.1]" unless otherwise troubleshooting required for RDBMS-HOME relink tasks.
pl. correct me if my understanding is wrong.
