recover 11g datafile with 10g backup
Jun 4, 2013 11:37 AM
I am upgrading from 10.2.0.5 to 126.96.36.199
While running catupgrd.sql in test database I found the following error..
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-01578: ORACLE data block corrupted (file # 1, block # 44638)
ORA-01110: data file 1: '/u02/oradata/RSDB1/system01.dbf'
I have not taken any backup since it is test.
Can I recover the block by taking backup of production(10.2.0.5) datafile?
