Hi I have a java jar file got some numerical analysis routine and it is passing two int (integer array structure)
When I try to load it into Oracle and publish the procedure so PL/SQL can call it.
It is complaining it says it can only take a Jar file.
I have the source code so I am considering convert the jar file into a class file but these can be a lot of dependency resolving to make it to just one big class file.
so what would you guys suggest ?
I am looking into is there a tool that convert one jar file to one class file in Java
You can't 'convert one jar file to one class file'; they are two differenct types of objects.
What does 'it is complaining' mean? You can't just tell us your interpretation of things. Show us EXACTLY what commands you are using and EXACTLY what the result is.
Like rp0428 said jar files and class files are different types of objects, that said however, a jar file is just zipped archive of class files along with a manifest file, and potentially some additional resources. Since it's a zipped file, you can open a jar file with an appropriate compression utility and extract the desired class file or files or you can use the jar utility that's part of the Java Development Kit to extract the desired class files from the jar.
