          Hi,

Have you made some changes to system before this happen?

          Have you check listener status?

          Have you check alert logs?

          Regards,

          Jari

              Hi,

              Check listener status

              lsnrctl status

Also check that e.g. firewall do not block connection to http port you are using.

              Regards,

              Jari

                        Hi,

                        For me it looks good.

Are you sure you do not run any other service in port 8080?

Are you sure you have not make any changes to database configuration or OS before problem occurs?

Check database alert log if there is some useful info about problem.

You can use SQL developer to export your application.

                        Regards,

                        Jari

                              Two tricks you could try:

1.) install sql developer and create connection to your database, if you can see the applications under APEX then you might have grants to export it to sql file

2.) If you can connect with sqldeveloper and see APEX apps there then this will work like charm: unzip the apex-distro to some directory and use the export tool in there

                              java -classpath ".;C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\lib\ext\QTJava.zip;C:\where_ever_is_your_jdbc\sqldeveloper\jdbc\lib\ojdbc6.jar;C:\where_you_extracted_apex_distro\apex_4.2\apex\utilities" oracle.apex.APEXExport -db fqdn.database.somewhere:1521:name -user username -password your_password -applicationid 101

your paths, servername, sid will vary and the schema(user) and password, but look the connection you defined in SQLDeveloper.

Also change the application id to the one you should export. If you have browser history, you could find the application id from your browser history by looking the number after ...f?p=101

This java-tool also circumvents the problem of some larger application export files being corrupted when exporting via the browser (missing characters in the sql file).

There is also splitter java-code which splits the application to its components, which will help you to see if you got the correct app..

Btw. check that your network setup is the same as it was when it worked the last time. Sometimes e.g. if you have used VPN and XE was installed when VPN was on, then it can be that the XE setup doesn't work similarly when VPN is off.

Also which hostname you use in the URL, is it JPO2DT61U3X without the domain?

Have you tried hostnames like localhost or 127.0.0.1 in the URL e.g. http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex
