Thanks a ton for your response. To answer your questions -
1.My JDev version is - 22.214.171.124.0.
2.Yes I tried both Manually and using Android SDK manager both. But, when I was trying Android SDK Manager, it is not showing anything it is downloading under "Extras" section.
It is showing "Done loading package" and then no further action.
Any clue/help/suggestion for my 1st question?
1. I have gone through few demos, samples and tutorials in Oracle ADF mobile related posts/articles. Where I have understood that, it is easier to develop Android and iOS application using Oracle ADF mobile. My question is - Can I develop and deploy an application to an iOS emulator using Windows XP OS?
No. iOS deployment and testing requires MAC OS
Or I need to develop and deploy an application to an iOS emulator using MAC OS only?
2. When I'm trying to start the Android emulator it is showing me the error - "
12:32:28 PM] Failed to locate the Google Cloud Messaging for Android Library file named "gcm.jar". (oracle.adfmf.framework.dt.deploy.android.deployers.ValidatePreferencesDeployer)"
I have downloaded the gcm.jar, but not getting any clue- where should I place it, so that to resolve the error?
Check this blog for the solution:
Just to clarify - you can develop on windows an application that will run on iOS at the end of the day.
But in order to actually package and produce an iOS application you'll need a mac.
So your whole company can use windows to build the mobile application, but you'll need at least one mac somewhere to be able to create the iOS package.
For the person looking to start development - check out the setup tutorial here:
