I don't think it is a bug. You can not subtract from a date the way you are trying to do. As I indicated in my previous reply to your original
thread, given two dates you can find the difference using date_diff function.
However I did find a way to find the previous date (given the end date). Here
is an example I tried:
Setting endDT to today's date:
<?xdoxslt:set_variable($_XDOCTX,‘endDt’, '2013-07-29')?> - I played with date being in the YYYY-MM-DD format
To get date (2013-07-28) i.e date-1:
Hope that helps.
<?xdoxslt:set_variable($_XDOCTX, 'endDt', $rptEndDate)?><?xdoxslt:get_variable(($_XDOCTX, 'endDt') - 1)?>
for me it's ok
imho it's look like you try to add day(number) to date(string)
it's not oracle db date calculation
also look at another way
The date <xsl:value-of select="('',xs:date('2013-07-30') + xs:dayTimeDuration('P1D'))"/>
The date 2013-07-31
How will I code the substring method with the format of MM/DD/YYYY? Can you please let me know? I tried to code it but could not get it to work.
