    Interpret Decision Reports

    smuralee

      Hi All,

We are facing issues interpreting the decision-reports.

Example : The individual requires documentation if

                          either

                                   both

the individual is of type A and

the individual needs to provide documentation for type B

                                    or both

the individual is of type C and

the individual needs to provide verification for type D

If any 1 set of inputs are provided, the rule will be proven. When the decision report is generated, it does not specify which inputs will be required at minimum.

The report displays all the inputs as unknown, So, how can we interpret the report to conclude, that at least 2 inputs will be required.

      Thanks,

      Suraj

          Suraj,

The decision report is just that. It tells you why a current answer is the value it is. In this case the answer is unknown because all the possibilities are unknown. The complex boolean operations in the rules are completely captured by the decision report.

          Cheers
