Unit testing a parameter of type PL/SQL record

    Vincent Botteman

Does someone know if there is a workaround if you want to unit test a package procedure which returns a PL/SQL record? In my case, the package returns a parameter of type table%ROWTYPE.

The wizards returns a message that this type in not supported.

And the 'wizard' is correct - only SQL types are supported.

You need to use SQL types if you want to access them outside of PL/SQL.

The only way you can 'test' a PL/SQL type is by writing PL/SQL code.
