ORA-04030: out of process memory when trying to allocate 169004 bytes

Hi,

I am getting "ORA-04030: out of process memory when trying to allocate 169004 bytes" while running my Application.

My OS Details are as follows:

OS = Windows Server 2008.

/PAE is added in boot.ini

In My application there are various forms in which you can load data.

It works fine when am using other forms but for one specific form when i try to load data it gives out of process memory error and session is disconnected and when i try to login again it gives TNS: Listener could not hand off client conenction.

Have you tried tracing to locate the exact DML that causes this error? How is the PGA usage (v$pgastat) at the time of issue ?

You may be hitting a bug. Do a run test with following workaround:

alter session set "_optimizer_fast_pred_transitivity"   = false ;


This is your session only so there is no impact on the rest of database activity so you can test if you are actually hitting the bugs mentioned in the note. One of them matches your version 11.2.0.1

I think you was running out of space for the Paging file. check in the log at OS level for any error.
